Development progress #03 - Alexey - 11-26-2019 11:26 AM

For this week we chose to show you some progress on Waffen SS NPC/uniform.
It's a SS M42 Tunic with some generic gear that Germans held.

Hi-poly version:

Okay, I consulted forlik about what's on the cap, and yes, my suspicions were correct, the eagle shouldn't be on the left-hand side of the cap. Then again, these are WIP screenshots, right?

Yes, we can do any changes at this stage.
But as for cap, we used references from original photos.

Here is some old photo:

And this is original cap, not replica:

Guys, please do not consider me as expert in the area of 3rd Reich uniformology. The best sources here are the real experts (like guy who helped me to design MoTmod Jagdpanther mission for example), internet resources like germanmilitaria.com or militariatedesca.it and archive photos of course.
About this cap - I’ve never saw (or just forgot) such eagle position on Waffen SS headgears, but as you can see it exists.
About new models and textures - looking really good!
