French subtitles which need to be fixed

Let's start :

First mission briefing : 2. ÉLIMINER MARTIN FICHTNER

"La lutte interne au sein du Parti Nazi initiée en 1934 permet a Fichtner de rapidement gravir les échelons et de rejoindre la Guestapo."

=> "a Fichtner" should be "à Fichtner"

3. DÉTRUIRE LA BANDE MAGNÉTIQUE

"de l'un de nos officiers nommé Sergey Sokolov, nom de code Falcon ."

=> "Falcon ." should be "Falcon." (no space between Falcon and the period/dot).

During the tutorial texts : DÉPLACEMENT

- "Enfoncez le Stick Analogique Gauche pour le mode furtif".

=> "mode furtif" should be "mode furtif" (there's two spaces instead of one)

In the in-game weapon inventory (when you press "Back") :

For most weapons, it says "Des munitions disponibles". It should rather be "Munitions disponibles :", the "Des" is not necessary and sound awkward in french in this context (and the colon is missing, note that it require one space before, unlike in english).

In the first mission :

When you're about to put poison in the officer drink, the text displayed is : "VERSER LE POISON DANS LA BOISSO". It should be "VERSER LE POISON DANS LA BOISSON" (the last "N" is missing).

During the dialogue with the american prisoner :

"Vous êtes l'Américain, tout le monde on ne cesse de parler?"

=> It should be : "Vous êtes l'Américain, celui dont tout le monde ne cesse de parler ?" (it's one of the translated sentences that make no sense I was talking about)

"Vous êtes le Russe ..."

=> It should be : "Vous êtes le Russe...." (the space is not required)

"La seule personne ne parle..."

=> It should be : "Celui dont personne ne parle..." (this is the other translated sentence that make no sense I was talking about).

"On m'a dit que les Russes étaient intéressés par Heinrich . Ecoute, peut-être nous pouvons travailler sur quelque chose..."

=> It should be : "On m'a dit que les Russes étaint intéressés par Heinrich. Écoutez, peut-être que nous pouvons nous entre-aider..."

"On dirait que vous êtes la seule personne qui a besoin d' aide ici..."

=> "besoin d' aide" should be "besoin d'aide" (no space needed)

"Au diable ! Je dois quelque chose que vous voudrez . Permettez-moi de sortir ici."

=> It should be : "Oh, et puis merde ! J'ai quelque chose qui vous intéresse. Faites-moi sortir d'ici." (several words missing and other stuffs).

"Sois plus précis."

=> It should be : "Soyez plus précis."

"Documents . Heinrich a travaillé sur le sérum . Ce n'est tout dans le dossier - formules , les rapports des essais sur lesquels ils travaillaient ."

=> It should be : "Des documents. Heinrich a travaillé sur le sérum. Tout est dans le dossier - les formules, les rapports des essais sur lesquels ils travaillaient." (part of this sentence, again, doesn't really have a proper meaning).

"Dépêche toi".

=> It should be "Dépêchez-vous."

"Demandez aux Allemands , vous savez combien ils aiment le tabac..."

=> It should be : "Demandez aux Allemands, vous savez combien ils aiment le tabac..." (there's shouldn't be any space before the comma).

General rules about french language (because I saw several problems with spaces in the dialogues) :

- You should never put a space before a period/dot (there's only one after, like in english)
- You should always put a space before ? or ! or , (but each of them need a space after, like in english).
- You should never put a space before a ' (and you shouldn't put a space after either)

Cutscenes before mission 2 :

"Enfin quelqu'un qui travaille, ici, espèce d'imbécile !" (sound pretty awkward).

=> It should be : "Il y en a au moins un ici qui travaille, espèce d'imbécile !"

"Retirez le cadavre ! Et apportez-moi le brandy.

=> This one is different. The translation is good, but it seems weird. The english sentence is "Remove the body! And bring me the brandy." Shouldn't the english text says "Remove the bodies !" (as there should be two bodies, Heinrich's one and the Officer one). So it's up to you. If it should be "Remove the bodies !", it would be "Retirez les cadavres !"

"Camarade Major-général, ici le Colonel Strogov".

=> It should be : "Camarade Major-général, Colonel Strogov, au rapport."

"Vous l'avez trouvé comment ? Que pouvez-vous me dire de lui ?"

=> It should be : "Comment l'avez-vous trouvé ? Que pouvez-vous me dire à son sujet ?" (sounds better for a high-ranked person)

"C'est exact... Camarade Lientenant..."

=> It should be "C'est exact... Camarade Lieutenant..."

"Mes excuses, Colonel. Permission de parler, Monsieur."

=> It should be : "Mes excuses, Colonel. Je demande la permission de parler, Monsieur."

"comme était votre relation avec Rambaldi ?"

=> It should be : "Comment décririez-vous votre relation avec Rambaldi ?" (more accurate to the english text)

"On était des soldats. Des ennemis potentiels. Je l'ai sauvé, il m'a donné des infos. Nos relations étaient bonnes."

=> It should be : "On était des soldats. Des ennemis potentiels. Je l'ai sauvé, il m'a donné des informations. Notre relation est bonne."

"Et ensuite... ?"

=> It should be : "Et que s'est-il passé ensuite... ?" (more accurate to the english text)

Dialogs with the receptionnist :

"Réservation pour Gunter Tannenbaum , s'il vous plaît."

=> It should be : "Une réservation au nom de Gunter Tannenbaum, s'il vous plait".

"Bien sûr, juste une minute..."

=> It should be : "Bien sûr, un instant je vous prie..." (original one sound like a literal translation)

"Je suis désolé , monsieur, mais il semble que votre chambre est temporairement indisponible. Il y avait... un accident dans votre chambre."

=> It should be : "Je suis vraiment navré, Monsieur, mais il semble que votre chambre est temporairement indisponible. Il y a eu... un accident dans votre chambre."

"Et qu'est-il arrivé il exactement?"

=> It should be : "Et que s'est-il passé exactement ?"

"When the maid came to check on the room she found blood on the floor, and the guest was nowhere to be found..."

=> The sentence isn't translated, it should be : "Lorsque la femme de chambre est allée vérifier la chambre, elle a trouvé du sang sur le sol et le client reste introuvable..."

"M. Tannenbaum , s'il vous plaît ne dites à personne . La réputation de notre hôtel ... vous comprenez."

=> It should be : "M. Tannenbaum, s'il vous plaît, n'en parlez à personne. La réputation de notre hôtel... vous comprenez."

"Une dernière chose : je dois rencontrer M. Minneli . Quelle place est -il rester dans?" (the end of the sentence literally mean nothing at all...)

=> It should be : "Une dernière chose : je dois rencontrer M. Minneli. Dans quelle chambre réside-t-il ?"

It look like several people translated the french script, at least two, one who did a good job and one who did a bad job (the bad sentences look like they were translated with google translate...)

That's all I noticed for now, haven't finished the second level yet. I'll do a report more or less after each mission.
